02- March 26- notes from the sofa

I had my first group of young artists coming to the studio last weekend where they created detailed drawings of the eye using pencil and blending stumps. We also began making a hand made canvas folder to carry artwork. I forgot to take any pictures so must remember next time.

I have been planning some Easter themed craft sessions which will involve lots of mixed media and messy work but also some quieter meditative processes too for younger artists.

I have been working on my next textile design which will need a day or two to rearrange elements before it’s good to go, then I will stretch the fabric over a Victorian chair..
