My Thinking Sofa comes from the idea of having a place to sit, pause and think often with a cup of tea, where ideas are given time to develop.

It’s where colour, pattern and form are explored without rush, gradually becoming artworks, textiles and illustrated objects made with care.

Founded in 2026, My Thinking Sofa is an artist-led design studio based in Tilston, on the Cheshire–North Wales border. With over a decade of experience in art education, my background informs a practice that spans original artwork, textiles, illustrated products, and creative workshops and commissions.

Today, My Thinking Sofa is a calm, welcoming space for making and thinking — and for inviting others in through workshops, shared processes and thoughtful collaboration.
